What does a tennis academy really cost?

A weekly camp fee and an annual academy fee cover different things. The useful question is not only 'How much?', but 'What exactly is included for this player, on these dates?'

By Tennis.Academy. Editorially checked 30 September 2026. Prices, programmes and rules can change; consult current official sources and the quote for your specific case.

Build one comparable quote

Ask each operator for the programme dates and a written quote in its original currency. Separate tennis and fitness training from boarding, meals, school tuition, airport transfers, tournaments, coaching at events and optional private lessons. Confirm the deposit, payment schedule, taxes, refund and cancellation conditions.

Questions for the operator

  • Is the stated amount per week, term or academic year?
  • Is boarding included, optional or unavailable for this age?
  • Are school fees paid to the academy or to a separate school?

Treat prices as time-sensitive evidence

A price in a profile is a dated observation from a named source, not a guaranteed offer. Some programmes publish no amount at all; that is a reason to request a quote, not to estimate one. Currency conversion, seasonal supplements and availability can change the total you pay.

Examples of different pricing structures

Barcelona Tennis Academy describes a Can Via annual pathway coordinated with Agora Barcelona International School and notes that school fees are separate from academy training fees. Evert Tennis Academy publishes separate boarding and non-boarding programme prices on its official pages. These illustrate why a headline fee cannot be compared without inclusions and a check date.

Questions for the operator

  • What is the final total for the exact dates and option we need?
  • What changes if the player leaves early or the camp is cancelled?

A practical checklist for comparing two quotes

Use the same player, dates, number of nights and currency for both quotes. Mark each item as included, an extra charge or still unconfirmed before comparing totals.

Comparison checklist: the key questions

1. Match the training package

Record coached tennis hours, fitness, private lessons, group size and programme length. Count only sessions included in the quote. Tournament entry, travel and a coach's attendance may be separate charges.

2. Add the cost of the stay

Record nights, room type, meals, school tuition where relevant, supervision, transfers and travel. Keep refundable deposits separate from non-refundable fees, while allowing for them in the cash you need before departure.

3. Compare the total and the payment terms

Add all confirmed required charges and list optional extras separately. Leave unknown charges visibly unresolved. Request a final written total and check payment dates, cancellation conditions and what happens if the programme cannot run.
